The Digital Center

Union Digital Centre (UDC), a union-based digital centre in Bangladesh, aims to ensure information services at the doorsteps of the grassroots people. [1] [2] The Union Information and Services Centre was started in 2007 as the Community Information Centre (CEC).

Under the Access to Information Program (a2i) of the Prime Minister's Office of Bangladesh, the cec's activities were started on a pilot basis at Madhainagar Union Parishad of Tarash Upazila of Sirajganj and Mushidhat Union Parishad of Setabganj Upazila of Dinajpur district on a pilot basis.
