Canals and rivers
Chanpur Union is a traditional region of Mehendiganj Upazila, built on the banks of the Meghna River. There are many small and big canals in the union. But there are also many small bills. All these canal banks are rich in fish and the fishermen of the area earn their livelihood by fishing in these banks.
